VP Sales - Vendor Recruitment
Summary of Position - Fast growing publicly traded
business-to-business e-commerce seeks a salesperson in New York
City with experience in the Men's Wear industry, to sign up
vendors who will show merchandise to retailers on the Company
web site, www.c-me.com. The geographic territory you will be
assigned is East of the Mississippi.
Essential Job Functions - You will be responsible for
signing up manufacturers, jobbers, wholesalers or importers, in
your geographic and categorical territory, whose merchandise is
aligned with C-ME.com's retail partners' product offerings.
Currently, C-ME.com's retail partners are Factory 2-U Stores,
Burlington Coat Factory, Allied Department Stores and Sacks SFO.
Many new retailers are being added.
Vendors are charged a yearly subscription fee plus a set-up fee.
As an Internet company, all of our communication is electronic.
You will also be responsible for building and maintaining
relationships with your vendors, keeping each vendor's content
fresh and appealing, and renewing each vendor's contract
annually.
Qualifications - Please have three to five years of sales
experience in the retail industry, selling merchandise to retail
buyers or selling to domestic apparel manufacturers. You will be
very successful if you are an Internet savvy, outgoing, driven
professional with many manufacturer, jobber, wholesale or
importing contacts in the Men's Wear Industry.
Your Compensation - You will receive a competitive base
salary, a generous percent of the collected revenue, plus stock
options. C-ME.com's compensation plan is structured to allow you
to leverage your future success in each succeeding year.
